We were all playing in the big band, and just got the idea to do something else on the side, and it turned into this.
So it's been pretty fun.
Writing instrumental music, the story that you're telling is kind of nebulous.
But I keep a list on my phone of the song title ideas that I've had over time.
And then when I'm starting to write a piece of music, I'll look at the list and see if one of the titles fits it.
And then that also kind of steers the direction it goes.
